Privacy Information for Zapidos

This page provides additional information about privacy at Zapidos. Read the Shopify-managed Privacy Policy and use Your Privacy Choices for an available opt-out.

Information we handle, where it comes from, and why

Depending on how you use the store, information may include your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, account identifiers and preferences, cart and order details, payment status and transaction records, return requests, and the content of messages you send us. Device and usage information may include your IP address, browser, device and network identifiers, pages or products viewed, interactions, and cookie or similar-technology data. Shopify may also generate security, fraud-prevention, or service diagnostics and inferences from activity.

Information comes from you when you browse, place an order, create or use an account, or contact us; from the browser or device automatically when the storefront is used; and from Shopify and other service providers or partners involved in store, payment, delivery, security, or support functions where applicable.

We use information to operate the storefront and checkout; process and confirm orders and payments; arrange delivery; respond to product, account, order, and return questions; administer returns and refunds; protect the store and customers; troubleshoot services; maintain business records; and meet legal obligations. Marketing or personalized advertising uses apply only where the relevant features are enabled and permitted.

Shopify and other recipients

Shopify hosts this storefront and provides store and checkout services. The payment service associated with the method you choose at checkout handles payment information for that transaction. A delivery or fulfillment service may receive the information needed to handle an order. Depending on how you use the store, service providers may also handle relevant information for hosting, security, payment, delivery, customer support, or legal compliance. The providers involved may vary based on your payment choice, delivery needs, and the store features you use. We may disclose information to authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • Strictly necessary: technologies needed for core storefront, cart, checkout, session, security, and fraud-prevention functions.
  • Preferences or functionality: technologies that remember choices or settings when those features are used.
  • Analytics or performance: technologies that measure service use or performance only where such tools are configured.
  • Advertising or targeting: technologies that support advertising, cross-site sharing, or targeted advertising only where such tools are configured.

The store's cookie banner is currently turned off. Cookies and similar technologies may support essential store functions, remember preferences, or measure performance when related tools are enabled. Advertising or targeted-advertising technologies depend on the tools in use and your privacy choices. Browser settings can control some cookies, but blocking technologies needed for the cart, security, or checkout may affect how the store works.

The Your Privacy Choices page provides Shopify's available opt-out control. The Shopify-managed policy says that, where applicable, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is treated as an opt-out for the browser or device and may be associated with an account when Shopify can make that association. GPC information is available at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Maps loaded from Google

The Home page and Contact page load an embedded Google Map directly. When the map loads, Google may receive the connection request and technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, request time, and the referring site domain. The map is provided by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can use the map's Google link or choose not to interact with the map, but the embedded map request is made when the map loads.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including order, return, customer-service, security, accounting, and legal requirements. Retention periods vary by information type and purpose. Shopify and service providers describe the safeguards used for their services; no method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review the matter under applicable law.

International processing

Shopify and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. The location and safeguards involved can vary with the service and applicable law. Where relevant, processing is subject to the providers' terms and legal requirements.

U.S. state privacy rights and requests

Depending on your state of residence and the law that applies, you may be able to request access to or knowledge of personal information, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing; and exercise other state-law rights, including rights concerning sensitive personal information where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right provided by law.

Use Your Privacy Choices for an available sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out. For access, correction, deletion, portability, or another privacy request, email support@zapidos.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. Provide enough information to identify the request, but do not email a full payment-card number, security code, password, or government identifier unless we separately explain a lawful and secure verification method. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where allowed; we may ask for evidence of authority and may verify the consumer directly, as permitted by law.

Kentucky privacy requests (if applicable)

If the Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act applies to your request and the relevant processing, you may have the right to confirm whether your personal data is being processed and access it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a copy of data you provided in certain circumstances, and opt out of processing for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or certain profiling. The Act applies only when its statutory conditions are met; this notice does not determine whether those conditions are met in a particular case. To submit a request, use the contact method described above. If the Act applies, a response is due without undue delay and within 45 days. When reasonably necessary, the response period may be extended once by up to 45 additional days; we will notify you within the first 45 days and explain the reason. If we decline to act, we will provide the reason and appeal instructions within 45 days. You may appeal within a reasonable time by emailing support@zapidos.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject. We will send a written appeal decision within 60 days after receiving the appeal. If an appeal is denied and the Act applies, you may submit a complaint to the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office of Data Privacy.

For California requests to know, access, delete, or correct, the California rules generally require confirmation within 10 business days and a response within 45 calendar days. If reasonably necessary, a business may extend the response period once by up to 45 additional calendar days by notifying you and explaining the reason. California opt-out requests must generally be processed as soon as feasible and no later than 15 business days. Other states may set different rights and deadlines; we will follow the deadline that applies to your request. We will notify you if a permitted extension applies.

If we deny a request, or do not take action, you may email support@zapidos.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject and identify the request and decision you want reviewed. Where applicable law provides an appeal right, we will review the decision, explain our determination, and respond within the deadline required by that law. California residents may also submit a privacy complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency.
